1. Agreement to Terms
By accessing or using the Gillett Painting LLC website or requesting our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use our site or services.
2. Services We Provide
Gillett Painting LLC provides interior and exterior painting, power washing, drywall repair, and general handyman services for residential and light commercial customers in Cadillac, MI and surrounding areas. All work is performed according to the written estimate or agreement accepted by both parties.
3. Estimates and Quotes
Estimates are provided based on the information available at the time of the quote and are valid for the period stated in the estimate. Final pricing may change if the scope of work changes, unforeseen conditions are discovered, or additional materials or labor are required. Any changes will be discussed and approved before work proceeds.
4. Scheduling and Access
We will schedule work at a mutually agreed time. The customer is responsible for providing safe access to the work area, removing fragile or valuable items from the work space, and ensuring pets and children are kept away from the work area during the project.
5. Payment Terms
Payment terms will be outlined in the estimate or invoice. A deposit may be required before work begins. Unless otherwise agreed, the balance is due upon completion of the project. We accept cash, check, and other payment methods as communicated at the time of service.
6. Cancellations and Rescheduling
We understand schedules change. Please provide as much notice as possible if you need to cancel or reschedule. Deposits may be forfeited if cancellation occurs without reasonable notice or after materials have been purchased.
7. Warranties and Limitations
We stand behind our workmanship. Specific warranty coverage will be provided in writing with your estimate or contract where applicable. We are not responsible for pre-existing damage, defects in underlying surfaces, or issues caused by customer alterations, weather, or other conditions outside our control after the work is completed.
8. Liability
Gillett Painting LLC is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our services or website. Our total liability for any claim related to our services is limited to the amount paid for the specific service giving rise to the claim.
9. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Michigan, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes will be resolved in the appropriate courts located in Wexford County, Michigan.
10. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The updated version will be posted on this page with a revised date. Continued use of the site or our services after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
